I’m going to talk about If you don´t try you will never know.
A father and his son went to a circus. Outside was a big elephant with one leg tied /taid/ to a stick nailed /naild/ into ground.
The boy asked: Dad, why is it tied to a stick?
The father answered, /uuserd/ because the owner doesn’t want the elefant to run away.
But Dad, the stick is tiny and the elephant is huge /hiuch/. He could take out the stick and go to the forest.
Yes, but it is trained /threind/
If it is trained, why is it tied?.
The elephant owner heard /herd/ the boy’s questions and told.
When this elephant was a baby, I tied its leg to a stick and nailed it deep into the ground.
The next days it pulled /pult?/ and pulled the stick but couldn’t get it out.
After two weeks trying, it was tired and stopped pulling it.
This was the last time the elephant tried to scape.
It grew up thinking it couldn’t get it out.
Now that idea, that short stick, is deep in its brain and it will never be free.
We all have similar ideas or short sticks in our brain.
For example
I can’t play the piano because when I was young my music teacher told me that I was the worst piano player.
I can’t speak in public because I’m shy
I can’t go to Australia by myself because my English is bad and I can’t learn English because I don’t have memory or I don’t have enough time.
I can’t meet that person because I am bored, quiet, bald, skinny, fat or ugly.
I can’t do anything because I am lazy.
I can make nothing because I am busy.
Now, teacher, look at us, your students. Many of us are elderly, but we have taken out a short stick from our brains since we started learning English.
It is not easy, I know it is difficult. But we are trying it.
And yes mates, we can do it.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND VEHICLES IN DONOSTIA
The streets are crowded of cars. They dominate the public space and change the social and economic life of cities. The continuous growth of urban centers, with their traffic problems, force the promotion of public transport.

TAXI
They are espensive. You can´t take them anywhere on the street because you need to go to a taxi rank or make a phone call them to come and pick you up. They work 24 hours a day and many streets have a lane share with the bus.
UNDERGROUND (TOPO)
It is not very usual to take it to cross the city (It has only 7 stops), now there are building new rails and stops. It is used to go to Hendaia or Lasarte. You can change to train at Amara and go to Bilbao.
BUS
They are cheap and ecological (electric). They reach all the neighborhoods of the city and in many streets they have a lane that they share with taxis. In Gros you can leave at the RENFE train station and bus station to go to other cities. Depending of the lines they work from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and pass between 10 and 30 minutes. From 00:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and on the eve of holidays, the owl buses circulate and have stops on demand that allow to request the descent between official stops of the route for women and young people under 18 years of age.
MOTORBIKE
Although it rains often and sometimes cold, there are many in the city. It is not legal but it is allowed to circulate in the bus lane. They cross the city quickly and it is relatively easy to find parking.
BIKE
There are more than 65 km of bike lanes or «bidegorri» that connect all the corners of the city. It is a fast, comfortable and agreeable to enjoy the city.
WALK
The best way to enjoy the city, 43% of people walk in Donostia. It is the cheapest transport and there are not problems to park. Good physical exercise and fight stress.

The city can´t admit more cars. We have to look for other solutions by creating pedestrian zones in the city centers. The small businesses that are located in pedestrian areas have more buyers and these areas become quiet and enjoyable places to walk.

I’m going to talk about the sculpture of Moses /móuses/ by Michelangelo.
The sculpture I like the most.
Michelangelo Buonarroti was born in Florence, Italy /ítali/, in 1475 and lived 89 years.
He was the best sculptor of the Italian Renaissance /rinéisans/ (cinquecento) and one of the most important in the Universal History of Art.
Although /olthaug/ this genius felt himself a sculptor, he was also a poet, an architect /árkitect/ , for example St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, and a painter. Have you ever been at the Sistine Chapel? Oh yeah it is wonderful.
Michelangelo’s Moses is made of white marble from Carrara, and the sculpture is 235 cm high. It was made in 1515. It is the central figure /figa/ in the tomb of Pope /ˈpəʊp/ Julius II, at the church San Pietro in Víncoli, in Rome.
Its inspired /ínspaired/ in a biblic /biblic/ tale.
After spending forty days on Mount /maunth/ Sinai /sainai/, prophet Moses returns /ritarn/ bringing the Tablets of the Law /lou/ also known as the Ten Commandments /comándmens/. God wants him to show them to the people of Israel, but they were busy worshiping the Golden Calf /caaf/, a fasle idol /aidol/.
The artist captures the moment when Moisés turns his head left prepared /pripéɪrd/ to get up, furious /fíurius/ after seen the infidelity of his people.
The short horns represent rays /reis/ of light.
His right arm rests on the Tablets of the Law but his fingers grip his long beards /bíerd/.
His strong right leg rests solidly on the ground, facing forward /forwerd/.
However /haueva/ the left leg is behind to make the effort to get up.
The left arm muscles are tense and his hand rests on the abdomen /ábdəmən/ with swollen veins.
On the other hand the legend says that, when michelangelo finished his sculpture, looking at perfect Moses, the artist asked him «Why don’t you talk to me?»
MICHELANGELO called these kinds of sculptures «La terribilitá» «The terrible» /terəb(ə)l/ because the ire /aira/ is movement /múfmənt/ in power, the muscles are in tension, but there isn´t movement in action.
Indeed /indiit/, Moses is sitting down and still but with a little imagination we can see that after a second he will get up choleric.
He will break the stone Tablets with the God Commandments /comándmens/, and will burn /bərn/ the golden calf /kaf/ to ashes /ashes/.
And after that he will say angered /ˈæŋgɚ/ «Whoever /húɛvɚ/ believe in Yave must come with me take you sword /sôrd/, and kill any neighbour, friend or brother that doesn´t follows Yave».
This bloody day three thousand people died /daid/.
This colossus /kəlósəs/ is angry.
